Jackie Ovassapian is a senior pursuing a BFA in Acting and a BS in Psychology at the University of Illinois. At U of I, Ovassapian has appeared in Lysistrata (Lampito), Because I Am Your Queen (Medea), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Tintinabula), Assassins (Sara Jane Moore), and In the Next Room, or the vibrator play (Annie) with Illinois Theatre. She has also appeared in a staged reading of The Wolves (#14) and student presentations of Things We Want (Stella) and Circle Mirror Transformation (Theresa). Ovassapian recently co-directed/movement directed Eurydice in the Armory Free Theatre and previously movement directed a student presentation of How I Learned to Drive. She served as Co-Student Volunteer Coordinator for Illinois High School Theatre Festival for three years and recently worked as the Theatre Management Intern at Steppenwolf Theatre Company.
